From January 16th to February 6th, our Green Dog representatives will be travelling to Japan to visit different shelters and help them implement a non-kennel, pack model. Throughout the three weeks, they will be educating dog owners as well as volunteers and shelter workers about dog language and pack dynamics. This is a very big step in helping change the lives of thousands of dogs by training the people responsible for rescuing, re-homing and providing refuge to them.
The 20th Anniversary of Paws For Love Gala is a big event for us to take part in at GDRP which benefits our rescue dogs as well as those in many other local shelters. This fun-packed fundraiser is appropriately valentine themed, and includes a raffle, silent and live auction, art painted by talented shelter animals and wine. GDRP will be bringing our senior dogs to share the spotlight. Buy your tickets now at Kings Kastle!
Green Dog is invited to Windsor State Preschool for a special day of dog-child interaction, play and education. Connecting with animals during childhood is of the utmost importance to instill a love and understanding of dogs in our future generation of animal welfare advocates. We cherish every opportunity to share a positive experience with our dogs with children who otherwise may not have a chance to be around them.
