Napa Film Festival 'Dogumentary Double'

Join Green Dog Rescue Project at the Napa Film Festival November 8th, 2018 in Yountville, CA. The ‘dogumentaries’ that will be screened include “Life in the Doghouse”, the story of a dog rescue born out of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and “Pick of the Litter”, following a litter of puppies on their journeys to become guide dogs for the blind. Pack Day

This 'pack based' experience, led by Co-Founder Colleen Combs, provides two hours of basic introduction and insight into the language and social dynamic of dogs in a pack, followed by two hours immersed into a working pack of up to 100 dogs.  A one-hour lunch in the middle allows direct access to Colleen Combs for Q & A, prior to providing you the guided opportunity to implement your newfound skills.  All participants must be 16 years of age or older.

Are you ready to dive in to volunteer work at Green Dog Rescue Project?! This volunteer orientation is required for our new volunteers, so we can fill you in on our protocols for working with our rescue dogs. More importantly, during the orientation led by our Executive Director Colleen Combs, you will have a chance to learn the story of how GDRP came to be, network with other new and existing volunteers, and get an idea of how you can support us with your talents or special skills.
